Some of the quilts here are ones that were actually on display in competition. Others are ones that were on display in the booths to market the patterns. The ones below use ultra suede. They are so pretty in person! The bear and the moose are all batik prints. ... I will post more soon!

NW Quilter's Expo Portland, OR

I had a blast at the Expo this year with Mom. We tested out a few of the long arms and looked at hundreds of quilts. The best part of this year's visit was that I met Karen McTavish! She is so cool! She was at the APQS booth helping work with the Millenium they had on demo. Lynette Jensen was teaching classes this year and had a bunch of her quilts on display. I took over 200 pics this year and will post them as time permits... :)

Oregon State Fair woodland quilt

This quilt was done by a friend of the family. She did an awesome job on it! Some of my favorite quilts are the rustic/woodsy type quilts. She won a blue on this one....
