More from Oregon State Fair

Here are more pics of the Oregon State Fair quilts. I had a heck of a time taking pics because of the limited space. They were in rows that were close enough together that I couldn't take a full view picture. I did the best I could!! I think this is the last of the photos that I have for this year!

Here is mom's quilt. It took a red this year. Apparently this year it was quite an honor to get a ribbon because alot of them didn't even get one!!!

I had to get a pic of this one. It is an Amy Bradley design. Too cute!!!

Oregon State Fair quilts

Here are some of the quilts that were there... Alot of them were very nice but didn't get ribbons. I wish I knew why!!
This quilt was very pretty! I took a picture of the mountain close up but it doesn't do it justice. She used iridescent thread to quilt the mountain. Very pretty!

Oregon State Fair photos

We had a lot of fun at the fair yesterday. I took tons of pictures. They had a great display of cakes... I love the ones with the rolled fondant! They are so neat looking. I also took tons of pics of the quilts there. I was not as impressed with the quilts this year as I have been in the past or at other shows.... I have quite a few pictures so I imagine I will have a couple of blog posts!

Oregon State Fair entries

The Oregon State Fair is just around the corner. I don't live in Oregon but my mom does. The first one is her entry from last year. We finally have a good picture of it! She won Blue Rosette/Best of Show in the class it was entered into. The second one is the quilt she will be entering this year. This quilt was her own design. She did a great job!! I wish I had a picture of the actual quilting to show off... The threads are very pretty!

Adding to my stash!!

I have to share these great new finds! I bought this butterfly coordinate set/panel for my craft room. Everything in it is Chocolate, Teal and a lighter aqua. Can't wait to put these together. They will go great in the craft room!
