Getting Twisted!

I recently had a chance to use my Twister template for the first time. This pattern is so unbelievably easy! I could not believe it when I had the top almost completed by the end of the day! It was quilted with a dragonfly/flower pattern. The back is minky/microfleece. I love using this on the back of my quilts. It makes the patterns pop on the minky side. And everyone who receives one absolutely loves how soft it is!

The process of making Batiks

I found this on the Robert Kaufman website and thought it was pretty neat! Check it out HERE. The process is quite interesting!!! I have recently taken interest in batiks. I love how batiks blend! They have so much potential in a quilt.
